New Lightning Editions

In February, Salesforce introduced new core Salesforce editions for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to give customers more customization and configuration capabilities. Salesforce’s Professional edition, Enterprise edition and Unlimited edition for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud will be replaced by new Lightning Professional edition, Lightning Enterprise edition and Lightning Unlimited edition for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and will be priced at $75, $150 and $300, respectively.
Existing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud customers have now automatically received the capabilities and features of the new Lightning editions.
The Salesforce editions previously referred to as:
are now referred to as:
- Professional Lightning Edition
- Enterprise Lightning Edition
- Unlimited Lightning Edition
Professional Edition now includes:
- Workflow Automation (including Process Builder!!)
- Standard Sales Console
- Custom Profiles & Page Layouts
- Record Types for Custom Processes
- Unlimited Apps & Tabs
With Process Builder you can automatically update records, create tasks, send alerts and post to Chatter based on your business needs.
Record Types, Profiles and Page Layouts will allow you to define who sees what type of functionality and data and what type of fields appear on the screen based on the user or the type of record you are looking at. Click here to see an overview.
Salesforce Enterprise Edition now includes:
- Customizable Sales Console
- Partial Sandbox
- 25 Developer Sandboxes
- Mobile Two-Factor Identity
The Customizable Sales Console can dramatically revolutionize the way you work with records and see multiple lists, records and other resources (macros, knowledge, etc.) throughout the work day.
