What should the client team
mix consist of on a Salesforce project?
It is critical to have a
Project Sponsor (someone funding the project) that is passionate and
engaged. Even if the person funding the
project is not available, they must delegate the authority on the project to
someone that is passionate and engaged.
Assuming that person is engaged, you also need to have the correct
business people on the project that can provide requirements, test the
application through the course of the project and be able to answer
questions. We typically see a “business”
person being the Client Project Manager and the IT department is available to
help with items such as data migration/integration as well as Outlook
